Reed is a very talented man with many skills but with few words. I, on the other hand, have more words and lots of questions. In all situations I ask questions about what something is called or why it is done that way and I just wonder about a lot of things. And he just knows so much about everything. Sometimes he becomes weary of all my questions and yacking as he calls it. He will just turn to me and say, "Too many words." That is my cue to stop. Whatever, I say.
My dad did something similar. He was a big fan of the television show All In The Family. Archie Bunker would say to his wife, "Stifle it Edith." Dad would just say to Mom, "Stifle it lady." Mom was not a big talker compared to Dad so that was funny in itself that he was telling her to stop talking. She would make that face of hers where she would look at us and just lift up her eyebrows. Her whatever face.
Just so you know, Reed has been taking such good care of me. He is kind and gentle and patient and keeps reminding me to do all the right things to heal. When he senses I am doubting or fearing he says, "Lunette don't overthink this." He reminds me that everything is going to be ok. He knows what words I need to hear right now. I am so grateful he is by my side. Bless him for all the times he has had to listen to my too many words. Thank you, God for sending me Reed Dobitz.
